We are proud that our school is named after the world-renowned Swedish author of children’s books Astrid Lindgren since July 1, 2000.
Our school is a basic primary school with a focus on sports and physical education. Approximately 180 pupils are taught in eight classes, all of which are dual track. There are four first and second classes mixed in age groups and two third and two fourth classes. We have eight female teachers, one male teacher and our pastor (Protestant) and one female teacher (Catholic) teach religion.
The Astrid Lindgren School has a school choir; it offers a circus-, theater-, as well as a chess workshop. Additionally, the school cooperates with different clubs, e.g. with GSV, TTV, TC, chess-club, OGV and the Biotop-AG.
